Tombstone tallied 3 runs in the top of the 6th inning with the help of 4 hits.
Richie Sexson kicked off the action when he drew a walk.  Mike Lieberthal
stepped into the batter's box and he grounded into a double play.  Troy Glaus
then doubled.  Magglio Ordonez followed and he was hit by a pitch.  Daryle
Ward stepped into the box and stroked a base-hit driving in a run.  Suzuki
joined his teammates in the uprising and delivered a single scoring one more
run.  Edgar Renteria next to the plate and he stroked a one-base hit scoring
the final run of the inning.  Armando Benitez was great in relief and
recorded his 11th save.  

Brett Tomko(2-2) went 6 and 1/3 innings allowing 5 runs for the victory. Mark
Mulder(4-3) was hit with the loss.  He got hit pretty hard, allowing 9 hits
and 3 walks in 5 and 2/3 innings.
